The Deal: Deal the cards clockwise one at a time, face down. If two or three people are playing, each player receives seven cards. If four or five people are playing, each player receives five cards. The remainder of the deck is placed face-down on the table.
The Play: The player to the dealer’s left chooses a card in their hand, looks directly at any opponent, and asks for the card they chose. The addressed player must hand over the card requested if it is in their hand. If they do not have it, they say, “Drink Up” and the player who made the request takes a sip of their drink and draws the top card off the center pile, placing it in their hand.
If a player gets the match they asked for, they are entitled to ask the same or another player for another card. So long as the player succeeds in getting cards, their turn continues. When a player completes a set, they must place the set face up on the table, each set has a unique activity that must be performed once completing the set.
The game ends when all sets have been completed (completed sets will have 4 cards). The winner is the player with the most completed sets. During the game, if a player is left without cards, they may (on their turn) draw from the center pile and then ask for a match to that card. If no cards are left in the center pile, they are out of the game.
